Thanks to your overwhelming response last year to the Bonnet Shores Oil Coop. While making your own decisions regarding choice of oil company based on your individual needs, you not only saved money yourself, but also, for many of you, brought in $1,000 to the Fire District. If you remember, one of our vendors last year, donated $50 for each new customer. That totaled close to $1,000 which was used for an overhead projection system for the Community Center and a popcorn machine for camp and other groups. We all thank you...me too, since I participated also.

I have spoken to three of our former vendors, Petro, White, and Kent, and they are all willing to offer "special consideration" to Bonnet residents. So, in your search this year for best prices and services, please mention you are a Bonnet resident, so that you may hear the best pricing and service offered for us, as well as comparing these vendors to any others you might consider. While this year is not as tumultuous as the past, it is not a bargain either, so do what's best for you and, maybe, help out Bonnet in a unique way also.
